MC Truck Rental has added an initial 10 Isuzu commercial vehicles to its existing fleet – a mix of GRP boxes and curtainsiders with tail lifts – to be used primarily in the daily rental market.
All the trucks are N75.190s, specified with the Easyshift transmission, claimed to ease driving, reduce downtime and improve fuel economy.
MC Truck Rental's operations director Joe Ryder says the Isuzu trucks were chosen for their class leading payload and driver acceptability.
"Our Isuzu trucks have proven extremely reliable across our fleet, with around 160 already in service. With our experience of operating Isuzus for many years, choosing them for the daily rental fleet was an easy decision," states Ryder.
"In this market, what really sets these trucks apart is the class leading payload and great fuel performance, when compared against other truck brands," he adds.
The trucks were all supplied by MC Truck and Bus, the sister company of MC Truck Rental, and the bodies have been supplied by body builder Wessex Vehicle Services.
