Supplied by dealer Imperial Commercials, the new addition has a dropside body and joins four other Isuzu vehicles in the fleet – two are NQR 7.5-tonners, which have provided reliable service since 2000.
“For almost 20 years now we have come to rely on our Isuzus and they have each given us excellent service,” says Janet Fletcher, director of the family-run business, based in Dunoon with a second depot in Glasgow.
“This year, we decided it was time to replace one of the first W reg Isuzus and without hesitation we returned to Imperial Commercials for the replacement Isuzu.”
Vehicle reliability is crucial, she says, but dealer service is also “first class”, she says, adding: “Unusually for any OEM truck manufacturer, we also get regular follow-up calls from the Isuzu Truck head office ‘Care’ team, which again we value as an excellent additional service to our business.”
