Independent commercial vehicle dealer MC Truck and Bus has unveiled a new £180,000 shot-blasting bay at its Hythe, Kent, facility – saying this will enable it to become a “one-stop shop” for CV operators.
The shot-blasting facility is housed in a purpose-built area, 18m long and 5m high, which can hold most UK trucks and trailers, says the company.
Dave Hutchins, MC Group director, says: “We noticed a gap in the market through the type of repairs we were seeing in our body and paint shop. Rather than outsourcing this work, offering it on site means a more efficient service for our customers, effectively becoming a one-stop shop.”
