Texa launches IDC4E multi-brand vehicle diagnostics

Texa’s IDC4 diagnostics has been enhanced to include the new Truck 36 and Car 58 versions as well as implementation for BIKE, OFF-HIGHWAY and MARINE engined vehicles.

According to Texa, main improvements consist of a "reorganised user interface with larger, more intuitive icons that group together and highlight the functions most commonly used in garages, improving the speed of use".

New system features include: global systems scanning through the TGS3s function, with vehicle maintenance, settings, codes and device check functions now included in the auto diagnostics menu; and a redesigned vehicle selection process that reduces the number of steps involved.

Meanwhile, navigation between screens is easier, thanks to the introduction of quick tabs for parameters, errors, ECU information and activations settings. And a new function called Wiring Diagram Detail makes an instant link between an error read from the control unit and the corresponding component on the wiring diagram.

The first version of IDC4E will be V36 Truck, available to all Texa users with valid Texpack upgrade contracts.
