The first VOSA/GEA approved hydraulic wheel play detectors are now available from Gemco for workshops considering joining the VOSA ATF network.
The machine comes from manufacturer BM Autoteknik in Denmark, and its BM53000 features powerful hydraulic rams to cope with 20 tonne axle loads, as well as radio remote control that also includes an LED inspection lamp – meaning no more cable damage.
Gemco says the equipment has been programmed for the VOSA test sequence requirements, all from one key operation. It also points to the equipment's test plate self centralising system.
The units are designed for cross pit application, with various options for positioning of the hydraulic pump/motor system, either above ground in a control housing or inside the steel pit wall.
