Fleet Manager - East of England Ambulance Service (NHS Trust)

Working closely with the Head of Fleet and Workshops you will deliver a strategy of ensuring the East of England Ambulance Service has a fleet fit for purpose, maintained cost effectively meeting operational and patient needs. In addition to the long term strategic planning of Fleet purchasing and stock levels you will manage the day to day provisions, such as vehicle compliance, maintenance and 24/7 vehicle breakdown cover across the Trust's operational areas. You will have proven experience of management in a transport or fleet environment (in excess of 100 vehicles),the ability to manage budgets and significant experience as a fleet engineer or transport manager. A full UK driving licence (including C1) is essential as is the ability motivate and manage a team.
